The Fischersund scented candle is made using recycled soy wax and essential oils extracted from wild Icelandic herbs and is hand-poured. This fresh floral scent features bursts of tart rhubarb, citrus notes and crisp pine. Brand new sneakers, crushing fresh flower stalks against hot asphalt. Mouth full of lemon candy and fingers sticky with motor oil. Stolen rhubarb from a neighbours garden, peeled, slathered in honey, and chewed on. Orange cake crumble in the pocket of freshly washed clothes. Arctic wind blowing through hair in a damp pine forest. The tin container is hand-treated to create their signature look. Made in Iceland. The team includes Jonsi (of acclaimed Sigur Ros Icelandic band), Lilja, Inga Birgis, Rosa and their partners Sindri and Kjartan. Fischersund creates fragrance products inspired by the clean, unique nature of Iceland using herbs and oils harvested in the Icelandic wild via the most environmentally friendly solutions and materials for the modern lifestyle.
